It's sort of really stupid because they point out that 'they' are the root of the problem.... which wouldn't exist about the sociopath/psychopaths that seek out and CHOOSE this kind of dog...

Responsible owners raise great pit bulls

It’s people who are dangerous, not pit bulls. I have a pit bull. Her name is Jazmine. She is 4 years old and she is a wonderful dog. She loves people, cats and dogs.

I know a few people who come as close as one can, or at least claim to.. who really keep their dog leashed all the time outside, who always put their dog in another room when other people come over, who are careful when they open the door that the dog can't slip out... But the really responsible thing is to not own such a dog. No one can be vigilant 24/7/365 in a family setting... sooner or later you may get sick and groggy, or you are just really really tired, or you're distracted by something serious happening in your life, or something totally out of your control may happen like a burglary or a house fire or a gas leak or a window that gets broken in a storm... Zoos keep dangerous animals but their enclosures are generally a lot stronger than a home or fenced garden, zoo keepers don't work 7 days a week without any breaks, and they can stay home when they are sick.
