James Hassingerlistened to all of it, you did very well, I agree I wish your thoughts were better organized. As I was listening I thought it would have been good if you mentioned that advocates will compare pit bulls to guns and cars saying guns and cars kill more people than pit bulls and I would say YES, let's compare pit bulls to guns and cars and make pit bull owners need a background check like gun owners, let's require a license, registration and insurance like car owners must have. The fact that anyone is allowed to own a pit bull is scary

Jackie Jenkins I know what you mean James, I had a lot of things in my mind that I wanted to say, and I felt pretty cool about it and I was more nervous then I thought it would be. I didn't want to do too much rehearsing, maybe the next time I will do a bit better, although I do feel like a few of my statements made an impact, especially mentioning the children saying they were being eaten.

Julia Lewis I bet the little terriers started arguing with the pit bull in that way they do, not realising it would spell their doom. On these occasions they are too feisty for their own good. But maybe the pit would have killed them anyway, if it felt so inclined.

The reporter says "something triggered a bloodbath" between three dogs - a pit bull and two terriers. Wrong description, as it makes out they were all fighting. We know what most likely happened: the pit bull attacked and killed the two small dogs, which wouldn't have stood a chance.

Julia Lewis How can they be so stupid! Again and again they talk about fights in this kind of situation when it is invariably a one-sided attack - by a pit.

Rachel Simas Apparently if the victim dogs made attempts to save their own lives it is no longer an attack but a 'fight', Smh.

Colleen Long It is not safe to walk your pets on leashes. People obeying common courtesies by leashing their dogs are unwitting victims to mauling savages. I exercise my dogs in the back yard. I am not risking them being a play toy for a blood thirsty land shark.

Ricky Prince or the other terriers started it and the pit bull finished it. They are very good at finishing things
